Acceptance of Terms

By engaging the services of Arpit Dev ("I", "me", "the developer") — whether via email, WhatsApp, or any other form of communication — you ("the client") agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

These terms apply to all website design, development, and related services provided by Arpit Dev. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not proceed with the engagement.

Services Offered

Arpit Dev provides professional website design and development services primarily for local and small businesses. Services include but are not limited to:

• Custom website design and front-end development
• Mobile-responsive, multi-page websites
• Landing pages, product pages, and portfolio sites
• Contact forms, booking pages, and menu/catalogue pages
• WhatsApp and social media integration
• Website maintenance and minor updates post-launch
• Hosting setup guidance and domain configuration assistance

The exact scope of services for each project will be agreed upon in writing before the project commences.

Project Process & Deliverables

Each project follows a structured process to ensure quality results:

• Discovery: An initial discussion to understand your business, goals, and requirements.
• Design & Development: I build the website according to the agreed brief.
• Review: You review the website and provide feedback. Revisions are made as needed.
• Final Delivery: The completed website files or hosting setup are delivered upon final payment.

Timelines discussed during the project kickoff are estimates. Delays caused by the client (e.g. late content, feedback, or payment) are not the responsibility of the developer.

The client is responsible for providing all required content — text, images, logos, and other assets — in a timely manner. Arpit Dev may use placeholder content during development, which must be replaced by the client before launch.

Payment Terms

Pricing is discussed and agreed upon on a per-project basis. A general structure applies to most projects:

• Advance Payment: A percentage of the agreed project cost (typically 50%) is required before work begins.
• Final Payment: The remaining balance is due upon project completion and before final file delivery or hosting access is granted.
• Milestone Payments: For larger projects, milestone-based payments may be agreed upon in writing.

All payments are non-refundable once work has commenced. In the event of project cancellation by the client after work has begun, the advance payment is forfeited.

Revisions & Changes

Arpit Dev aims to provide unlimited reasonable revisions throughout the project until you are satisfied. However, the following applies:

• Revisions must be within the original agreed scope of work.
• Significant changes to the brief or scope after development has begun may result in additional charges, which will be discussed with the client first.
• Revision requests must be submitted in writing (email or WhatsApp) with clear instructions.
• Post-launch changes and updates may be provided as a paid service depending on the nature of the change.

Ownership & Intellectual Property

Upon receipt of full and final payment, ownership of the completed website code and design assets created specifically for your project is transferred to the client.

• Any third-party resources used (fonts, icons, stock images, libraries) remain subject to their respective licenses.
• Arpit Dev retains the right to display the completed project in their portfolio, case studies, and social media, unless the client explicitly requests otherwise in writing.
• Prior to full payment, all work remains the intellectual property of Arpit Dev.

Confidentiality

Arpit Dev treats all client information — including business details, pricing, strategies, and unreleased content — as confidential. This information will not be shared with third parties without the client's explicit permission, except where required by law.

Clients are similarly requested to keep any pricing, processes, or proprietary methods of Arpit Dev confidential.

Limitation of Liability

Arpit Dev is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the delivered website or services. This includes but is not limited to:

• Loss of business, revenue, or profits resulting from website downtime or errors
• Issues caused by third-party hosting providers, domain registrars, or payment gateways
• Security vulnerabilities introduced after delivery of the final website
• Content provided by the client that is inaccurate, misleading, or infringes third-party rights

The client is responsible for ensuring their website content complies with all applicable laws and regulations.

Project Cancellation

Either party may terminate a project engagement with written notice. The following applies in the event of cancellation:

• If the client cancels after work has begun, the advance payment is non-refundable.
• If Arpit Dev is unable to complete the project for any reason, any advance payment for work not yet completed will be refunded.
• Completed work up to the point of cancellation belongs to Arpit Dev until full payment for that work is received.
